The 2010 racing year marks the remarkable 41st season of Midwest Series competition. The Midwest Series (MWS) tradition started in the summer of 1970 and today continues the same efforts that our founding racers established. Their vision was to create an organized racing atmosphere for RC car owners to battle face to face with others fairly but also to maintain the fun level. Over 35 years later, we still continue that heritage providing an entertaining racing atmosphere for RC racers at any age.

The MWS races most of the nitro classes available today. Starting off, the 200mm touring class has grown in attendance and is now become internationally known as a World competition class. Along with this class is our 1/10th 4WD which run .15 nitro engines powering 4WD independent suspension machines. With the 1/8th 4WD class also on the list, these cars are considered the Formula One of RC, reaching speeds of nearly 70-75 MPH!!!

New to the Midwest Series in 2008 is the 1/8 scale GT class. These car are based on the 1/8 scale off-road buggy and modified to be an on-road entry level car which is very affordable and lots of FUN!!
