2011 Race Schedule

May 21-22 Mentor, OH - COMPLETED. June 4-5 Portage, IN - COMPLETED. July 9-10 Racine, WI - COMPLETED. July 23-24 Joliet, IL. Leisure Hours Raceway - COMPLETED.

August 13-14 Cincinnati, OH.COMPLETED. September 10-11 Toledo, OH.COMPLETED.

The 2011 Midwest Series season has come to an end. The final race was held in Toledo with the threat of thunderstorms predicted upwards of 50-60% for both days. As we all know, the weatherman can and will be wrong, most of the time. Lucky for all the racers who attended the weatherman was wrong again. Saturday turned out to be a beautiful day that included a catered pig roast for everyone. After lunch three qualifiers were completed with time left over for practice. The track was in great shape all day and stayed very consistent. Saturday night brought some showers but the track was ready to go for the fourth round in the morning. The weather held out the entire day until the warm-up for the 1/8th A-main. We had to wait out a 15 minute sprinkle and things were back on and the mains were completed.

A big thanks goes out to the Toledo club and all the Sponsors of the series. I hope everyone had a good time this year and will look forward to next year! Take a good look at all the podium pics and the overall points series winners and decide who you want to beat next year!
